What information should I have before contacting CADdis?
You don’t need to have every detail figured out before reaching out. Even a sketch, marked-up drawing, concept, or description of your idea can provide a great starting point. CADdis will work with you to understand your project, discuss possible solutions, and determine the information needed to move forward.
I only have a sketch. Is that enough to get started?
Yes. Many projects begin with nothing more than a sketch, marked-up drawing, photograph, or a conversation about an idea. CADdis can help organize your thoughts, identify the information needed, and develop a practical path forward. You don’t need a complete engineering package before reaching out.
How will I know what my project will cost?
Every project is different, so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all price. After discussing your project and understanding the scope of work, CADdis will prepare a proposal outlining the expected work, schedule, and estimated cost. You’ll know what to expect before any work begins.
Can CADdis work from existing drawings or PDFs?
Absolutely. CADdis can work from existing engineering drawings, PDFs, scanned prints, sketches, and many common CAD file formats. Whether your documentation needs updating, converting, or simply bringing up to current standards, existing information often provides an excellent starting point.
If additional measurements or clarification are needed, those requirements can be identified early in the project.
Will my information remain confidential?
Yes. CADdis understands that many projects involve proprietary products, new ideas, or confidential business information. Client information is treated professionally and confidentially, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are welcomed whenever appropriate.

How long does a typical project take?
Every project is different. Smaller drawing updates may take only a few hours, while larger design or documentation projects may require several weeks – or even a few months. After discussing your project, CADdis will provide an estimated schedule as part of the project proposal so you know what to expect before work begins.
